At MCA, all curriculum and programming are rooted in biblical truths and a Christian worldview. We offer a challenging academic program, including enrichment opportunities, technology, and the arts, as well as intervention programs for students who need extra support.

Our students are encouraged to seek out the truth of God’s word in everything they are learning and are given many opportunities to live out their faith through initiatives like chapel leadership, service projects, and supporting mission projects.

MS Student Council

The 2022-2023 school year is the first year of Middle School Student Council. In the spring of 2022, 7th grade students ran for offices and they held a middle school election.

MCA MS Student Council has a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Chaplain. They oversee their monthly meetings and discuss ideas and events that they would like to promote within the middle school. They put on a middle school bonfire this fall which was well received and attended.

They have representatives from each of the three grades of middle school (6th, 7th, and 8th) who attend the monthly meetings and are voting members STUCO.

Advisor, Mr. Keener said, "This group has demonstrated great leadership and I have been thrilled with the opportunity to work with these great young leaders."

National Junior Honor Society

"The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship and helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders in their school, community, and beyond.

NJHS chapters operate in all 50 states and schools around the world, engaging and serving more than one million students. Each year, the average NJHS chapter contributes:

650 hours of school/community service
$1,000 in charitable donations
500 pounds of food to local, state, and national causes
375 pints of blood

Reflecting school leaders’ profound commitment to student leadership development, the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) founded NJHS in 1928 with the purpose of creating enthusiasm for scholarship; stimulating a desire to render service; promoting leadership; encouraging responsible citizenship; and developing character in secondary school students.

In addition to NJHS, NASSP founded and manages the National Honor Society (est. in 1921), National Student Council (est. in 1931), and National Elementary Honor Society (est. in 2008)."

Their study combines Biblical truths with journaling and art to discuss and express creatively how God is with us and equips us through joys and trials we experience in life.

Established and Rooted (EAR)
