Lori Traver

My love for the culture and language of the Hispanic people started in my teens during my first out of the country mission’s trip with Maranatha.  This outreach to the Dominican Republic changed my life.

After graduating from Maranatha, I joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM).  I worked with YWAM for the next 20 years.  During this time I was able to minister in several other Latin American countries including Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvador, and Mexico.

I have a wonderful husband, two great kids, and a dog.  Some of my greatest adventures played out in Mexico.  My family spent several months there, and during that time, I was able to learn about the rich Mexican culture. I also hired a private tutor who taught my children and me conversational Spanish.

It is truly a privilege to be able to be a part of your children’s lives and speak with them in Spanish!

Acts 1:8
“you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
Matthew 24:14
“This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”;
Mark 16:15
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
