Director of Admissions & College Counseling
Kelly Wilde joined Maranatha Christian Academy in the summer of 2015 as the Community Relations Coordinator. Born in Illinois, she grew up moving all over the Midwest from Michigan to Texas. She graduated from Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana and attended the University of Oklahoma where she received her BA in Psychology and minors in communications and political science.
After college she moved back up to Michigan and worked with EDS and General Motors. It was while in Michigan that she met her best friend and husband, Rikk. Several moves, jobs, and children later she found herself in Fort Worth, Texas where she found her passion in Kingdom Education.
Kelly began working with Harvest Christian Academy as a volunteer and eventually held the position of Guidance and College Planning Counselor and then spent several years as the Director of Admissions and Development.
One of Kelly’s professional goals is to guide students to manifest Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Her personal challenge is reflected in I Thessalonians 5:16-18 where we are encouraged to maintain a constant dialogue with God and to praise him continually.
