I was born in Petoskey, Michigan and I’m married to Marilyn Decker Cilke and we have two children and five grandchildren. I graduated from Evangel University with a BA in Education (English), Western Illinois University with an MS in Education (Guidance and Counseling), and have completed 44 hours of graduate hours from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I served as an executive pastor for more than twenty years before returning to the classroom. Returning to the classroom allows my passion, for helping high-capacity leaders realize their God-given redemptive potential, be used for His Kingdom.
During my time at MCA I have taught English 10, English 12 (Dual Credit), Psychology (Dual Credit), Understanding the Times, Marriage and Family, Careers, and is teaching Biblical Servant Leadership and Theology of Work.
In my off school time I have had the privilege to train leaders in the Philippines, Mexico, Russia, Romania, and Egypt and also have been a Life Coach and Executive Coach to Christian businessmen who desire to build kingdom businesses to glorify God.
